Dr. Perlmutter has unique medical training - she is a board certified Pediatrician and a board certified Dermatologist. So, if the skin problems troubling you are on your newborn, your toddler, or your college student, you have come to the right place! Her favorite patients have always been children and adolescents (no offense, adults). Dr. Perlmutter is the only Pediatric Dermatologist in the Albany area spanning a radius of 120 miles, and with that, she is the only provider in the Capital Region to treat infantile (“strawberry”) hemangiomas with a very effective oral medication called Propranolol.
